Through the Berita Harian, reported illegal immigrants (PATI), is increasingly brave to violate the country's laws and to seize the rights of local fishermen. Following that, the Malaysian Fishing and Welfare Association (JARING), Che Ani Mat Zain urged the government to take strict action against the people especially the ethnic group, who had been detected wanted to go into fishermen in this country.
According to Che Ani, local fishermen's income has been impacted by the PATI’s fishermen and ethnic groups in the activity of the indirect marine production activities which have resulted in the impact of their community (local fishermen).
The Association (JARING) also expressed a feeling of regret and worries when he had received numerous complaints from coastal fishermen in the peninsula on the presence of the PATI, and now the ethnic group also caught fish in their area.
Che Ani said: "They were detected to have boat and carried out trapping activities until disturbing the source of local fishermen."

Apart from that, the group also claimed to invade the mangrove area by cutting the mangrove tree and building their houses. This aggressive attitude also looks like the members of the gangster group have raised local fishing concerns.
According to the report in the Penang State, there are 40 owners of boat who are believed to establish the Penang Rohingya Fishing Association in the area of Teluk Kumbar which has violated the Fishermen Association Act 1971.
The case of refugees smuggling was also baptized because it was much easier to do especially in the waters of Kedah and Perlis when the enforcement authorities were less strict to this group.
What do you think? Indeed, Malaysia has been flooded with the PATI and ethnic groups of Rohingya. Strict action should be taken to curb the local economy including our local fishermen.
