Have you guys noticed when Prime Minister (PM) Thailand, Prayut Chan-O-Cha make a live on the issue of Covid-19 through the Workpoint News on Facebook Live last week, most of Thai people hit the emoji button of ‘angry’ to that Facebook Live. Why that happen?
According to the review of Ahmad Faezal (2020), through his writing in the blog, Prayut Chan-O-Cha has a political history of being blamed for coup. Starting in 2006, he was involved behind Leopold Thaksin Shinawatra.
In the polyamide crisis in 2013-2014, Prayut sought to unite the opponent parties. After failing, he launched another seizure against Yingluck Shinawatra. Such coup confirms the nomination and its administration as the prime Minister for Thailand.
On March 24, 2019, Thailand hosted the first general election, which was accompanied by Prayut. None of the parties had a majority of 251 seats, thus requiring the minority of the government by Prayut as the Prime minister.

The Prayut government placed the target and promised he would complete the socioeconomic trap in Thailand. So far Thailand has three Economic Plans (EP):
First EP: Strengthening the economic sector of agriculture.
Second EP: Diversification of economy involving on small industries and food processing.
Third EP: Rapid the industrial of development and energy
Prayut introduced the Fourth EP-driven economy of high-tech industry based on innovation. Raw goods should be made of final product so that it can be sold to the world. This is the approach made by Prayut in order to achieve a high-income status in the country.
According to Apornrath (2017), the fourth EP made by Prayut will face a very critical bureaucratic problem as it involves several ministries that are managed in grab and not effective. This is because the existing Thai economic status is still working. Every year approximately 40 million tourists traveling in Thailand really love beaches and disco in Thailand because of its tourists. States such as Bangkok, Krabi, Pattaya, Phuket are always visited by the public and Thailand can generate up to USD109 billion (RM 478 billion) in 2018!
But unfortunately when Covid-19 hits the world, the effect is quite clear. All of Thailand's economy found a non-way. And at the time the thousands of Thai people gave an angry reaction on Facebook Live while Prayut aired live in the last week.

Many have touched on the social benefits of BHT 5,000 (RM 660) a month that are said to be inadequate to them directly (Reuters, 2020).
Prayut has confirmed the economic stimulus of BHT 1.9 trillion (RM 250.5 billion) given to the people to reduce implications due to the closing of all businesses.
Although with the grant of BHT 1.9 trillion (RM 250.5 billion), it was only 4.18% of the total GDP, thus being a 70 million people of Thailand.
Some ask if Prayut can live with BHT 5,000 only. Behind the removal and retrenchment of the people of Thailand, we can understand it.

According to Saksith CNA (2020), in another Thai television station, prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-O-Cha said that he will ask the ’20 richest people’ in Thailand for their help in battling the economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic, saying ‘the government alone cannot have all the answers to the outbreak’.
In such a situation, we as Malaysians must be grateful for the initiatives given by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to Malaysians. May we continue to be grateful, life is prosperous and protected from danger and disaster.
The photos below are the evidence that Malaysians are thankful to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin because while the Facebook Live, there are many Malaysians hit emoji of love and give positive comments as a sign of thanks!
